I would tell you all about how powerful the mind is and how sometimes you think you can’t do something but you really can. But chances are you already know this. A big part of teaching yoga for me is helping people listen to their bodies, be comfortable in their body and pushing past their comfort zone. Instead of telling you about the mind, I will demonstrate using one of my most dedicated students. When Rosie started taking private sessions with me she couldn’t touch her toes but now her hands go past her toes to lay flat on her mat. She continues to amaze me every time we meet. Also she has taught me that people can become slender, long and lean with yoga because yoga helps control cravings. A few weeks ago we set the camera on time lapse and what it captured was hilarious.

Now you know why your yoga keeps throwing put cues. Because we’ve been there and we know that if you simply breathe and listen to your body chances are you will be amazed at what you can really do. That’s why we keep saying breathe, inhale, exhale. So let’s turn this into some positive thinking.

Now that you’ve been reminded that your mind plays tricks on you, please be careful. Don’t let your mind play tricks on you?
What are some of the places that you could benefit from some positive thinking?
