After seeing What I Ate Wednesday posts on This is Thirty and Lizzie Fit .I decided to find out what it’s all about. The simplest description is take a picture of everything you eat and share. I wanted to do last Wednesday because it would be my first day adjusting to a new schedule: teaching yoga in the morning after taking a one hour pilates class. I also had a Top Chef watch party that night. I took the pictures and started the post but life got in the way and here we have a What I ate last Wednesday post.
This month is love your veggie month and coincidentally I made veggie chips to take to the party. It was actually quite funny to see me meat loving male cousins eating kale chips. They decided it was yoga food. So here you have it What I ate last Wednesday:
Breakfast: oatmeal and fresh squeezed orange juice
After pilates: homemade chocolate coconut energy bar.
After yoga: flat bread with hummus
Late lunch: Red beans, plantains and salad.
Afternoon snack: kale chips
Dinner: left over oatmeal
Top chef watch party: kale chips, 2 chocolate coconut energy bars, red grape juice.
And that’s what I ate last Wednesday.
