Other than realizing that I have no idea where my good running shoes are this week went well. I swam a lot more. I was really surprised my endurance while swimming. To think I only learned to swim 10 years ago. Also is there any easy way I can figure out my mileage while swimming. I realized that I had some plantar fasciitis. I taped for it and my foot pain reduced but I noticed that I have a stray little toe. I think I banged it one time too many and didn’t go to the doctor. I taped it up and will probably pay a visit to a doctor at some point. Here’s what my training looked like this week:
Sunday: Rest
Monday: Pilates
Tuesday: Rest
Wednesday: Rest
Thursday: Swim
Friday: Rest
Saturday: Yoga retreat
This week I plan to swim, use ice cups, build my core strength and foam roll if I can find a foam roller. If I find my running shoes I will go for a run. I don’t want to use the old running shoes because I think that contributed to my injury.
