Sunday Running Report & Balance: Finding my stride

Today  the Annual Independence Road Relay was held in my community.  This marked the end of my running challenge.  I think my challenge was successful.  I did not manage to run/walk everyday but I did get up and get moving more than I did before.  I feel stronger and I no longer feel like I’m gonna die in the beginning of my run.  My running challenge also helped me settle into a running schedule that is comfortable for me. I will keep the weekly updates to let you know how it’s all going.  I also have one more week left in the Find Your Balance in February Challenge.  I am really hoping to win the Athleta gift card.

Here is my brand new running schedule:

Sunday: long run
Monday: short/slow recovery run/walk
Tuesday: hills/speed work
Wednesday: Pilates
Thursday: Short run/walk
Friday: Long run
Saturday: Rest

And my weekly running report.

Sunday: 4 miles, some walking
Monday Made coconut milk and chickpea burgers.
Tuesday: 1 mike to and from yoga
Wednesday: Pilates class.
Thursday: Yoga at home
Friday: Run 3.05 miles in under 15 minute pace.  This is a huge deal! HUGE!  Because I felt really good after.  Check out my splits on the left.
Saturday: Rest

I am very pleased with this week. I taught yoga 6 days and I super busy. I am blown away by my Friday run. I hope I can keep improving my times.

Have you outperformed your expectations recently?
