February is over and so is the Find Your Balance in February Challenge. It was a tough month for me with quite a few fibro flare ups. This week was pretty awful/ scary. I would like to preface this by saying that all neighborhoods in St Lucia have trash pickup. That being said, I have some neighbors who don’t believe in trash pickup and continue to burn their garbage. To avoid irritated/angry neighbors they burn at night while people are sleeping. Early Wednesday morning I woke up to a house full of smoke. Apparently the house had been this way for over 2 hours. I haven’t been the same since. Major stomach issues and brain fog. I also had a photo shoot on Thursday that I needed to conserve energy for. No running this week just some short walks.
Sunday: I supported a local road race by volunteering. I decided that I would not run since I spent a lot of time on my feet.
Monday: I spent MANY hours twisting my hair for the photo shoot on Thursday. I used coconut oil instead of my regular petroleum jelly
Tuesday: Walking to and from yoga.
Wednesday: Pilates class and a one mile walk.
Friday: Rest, photo shoot recovery.
I am still recovering from my “poisoning.” I will be nursing my icky stomach by eating oat yogurt while watching the Oscars.
