Running Photographer: The run that turned into a walk

Last week I experienced a fibro flare up mid run.  It inspired the cartoon above.  Which reminded me of climbing Mount Major in NH with my best friends.  Both times I was in serious pain but I slowed down and made it.

How do you motivate yourself to keep running.
