When I was a teenager I used to eat ice cream by the liter with no repercussions. In a moment of clairvoyance I told my mom “One day I won’t be able to eat ice cream so I’m enjoying it now.” At 20 that time came and I started throwing up every time I ate ice cream. Six years later I went completely dairy free and could no longer use yogurt to get my ice cream fix. I tried a few dairy free ice creams and they were all thoroughly unsatisfying. Then I came upon coconut bliss and I was in heaven. Samadhi.
Let me tell you about coconut bliss. It is made by Larry and Luna in Eugene,OR. It is made from coconut milk; as the name suggests. Most of the products are sweetened only with agave syrup but a few also have evaporated can juice. All products are dairy free, gluten free and soy free. They also use mostly fair trade and non GMO stuff too. With all of this the products are all super yummy.
I used to think my favorite flavor was mint galactica, then ginger caramel cookie. Then I had a spoon of vanilla island and I remembered that vanilla has always been my favorite flavor of ice cream. They recently added bars to the product line. These are quite delicious and satisfying. I am patiently waiting for the day they unveil the chocolate covered vanilla bars. Then all my dreams will come true.

Have you tried Mr. Dewie’s Almond Milk Frozen Dessert?
No I have not. I would not buy it because I have a sensitivity to evaporated cane juice as well as almonds.
