Pose of the Week: Utthita Parsvakonasana


Extended side angle is a really great stretch. It feels especially good after a long run when my hips want to be stretched from all sides.  I try to include Utthita Parsvakonasana in most of my classes as part of Surya Namaskar B.  I like that there are several expressions of this pose with options for beginners as well advanced practitioners.
