Pose of the week: Sukhasana

SukhasanaAs a child I would always seat like this.  For me sitting cross legged comes naturally.  Others find it very difficult.  For help sitting in this position focus on hip opening poses such as lunges and pigeon.

How do you feel about sukhasana?

  1. One of my knees is always higher than the other in this pose – makes me feel a bit broken… 🙂 beautiful photo again!

    1. One hip is probably tighter from running. Notice if you always exhale on the same foot. Do asymmetrical poses to balance.
