I have been really loving backends lately because I can really feel the effect on my ovaries. I can feel space and ease in the front of my hips where I often have tightness. I also love backbends because most of them help with my goal of opening my hips and shoulders. Since my odyssey with chikungya started three months ago my muscles feel weak and I am concerned about injury. Practicing bow pose lying on my side let’s me go deeper into the pose without strain.
