I like to tell my clients that there are no easy poses. It all depends on your body and how you’re feeling on a particular day.
For example hero pose is quite easy for some but for others it is entirely inaccessible to others. If you have tight knees or ankles this pose can be excruciating. Towels and blocks can help make this pose comfortable and accessible.
A towel placed under the ankles can relieve pressure on the ankles. You can also place a rolled up towel in the back of the knees or blocks underneath your hips to relieve pressure in the knees.
