  1. You have reminded me that I have made a spiced pumpkin ice cream before based on an Indian kulfi recipe. Your recipe sounds really good, too, so I am tempted to make both to compare them! Being a Mum to 2 teenage boys who love food means I am never short of testers for any new recipes I try.

    1. Yes make it!!! And post the results

  2. I am not a huge fan of pumpkin spice, but I LOVE that you used banana as part of the base of this ice cream. I’ll bet it’s fantastic!

    1. It’s the easiest and cheapest way I have found to make ice cream. You can make your own pumpkin spice. I find the commercial stuff vile.

  3. Really like how simple this ice cream is to throw together. Items that we have on hand which makes it even better.

  4. HI Monetta,
I make a recipe very close to this one – I use my own homemade raw yogurt with maple syrup, raw honey and a some organic coconut nectar – I can’t use many spices especially the ginger due to food allergies – so the coconut nectar gives the butterscotch flavor to the ice-cream. I use organic milk, with my own pumpkin puree. Thanks for sharing this delicious recipe.

    1. That sounds delicious!

  5. This sounds fantastic! Thank you for the video. I’m not dairy free but I’ll have to try this recipe!

    1. You can use regular milk or cream

  6. I love pumpkin everything! I definitely gotta try this one! Thanks for sharing!

  7. What a great simple recipe, I love to make homemade icecream’s I still have my grandparents old one that uses ice and salt with the crank handle but its more for show. Hubby bought us a auto turner home made ice cream maker many years ago and I must try this recipe in it very soon.

I had found a good sale on coconut milk and was looking for new ways to use it 🙂

    1. Oh I have lot’s of coconut milk recipes. I make it fresh every week because we get coconuts free from the woods. You can try boiling it with cinnamon and spices and using it in your coffee. I have a few recipes let me try to find them.

  8. Yummy! My 11-year-old has been on an ice cream making mania lately, I’ll show her this idea 🙂 Thanks for the great recipe!

    1. You are most welcomed!!!!

I would love to know your thoughts
