Chart the Course: 3rd Annual Transformation Workshop

8 Branches of YogaWhen I think back on 2016 nothing good comes to mind. However when I find stillness and reflect I see growth, strength, fortitude and accomplishments long forgotten. Reflection is an important part of the eight limbs of yoga. It is one of the niyamas (observances). When we begin to understand our true self we can see our connection to the universe. We can also begin to understand our motivations and desires and how they help or distract from our greater purpose.

Transformation workshop 2016We can then use that understanding to illuminate and inform future actions. The end of a calendar year is a great time to slow down, look within and set intentions. To facilitate this, we will host the 3rd annual transformation workshop at the Sayana yoga studio in Mon Repos. We will move, reflect, and plan. Join me on Thursday December 29th for what is sure to be a transformative experience. Hope to see you there.

What was your greatest accomplishment in 2016? What are your intentions for 2017?
